Our activities and services

We develop collaborations with experts and institutions to conduct research projects aimed at integrating peripheralised territories into the European Research Area.

Our work includes:

• analysing centre–periphery dynamics in R&I at European level;
• assessing the performance of regional R&I systems;
• analysing the internationalisation of regions undergoing convergence;
• identifying regional barriers to participation in European horizontal programmes;
• analysing public policies aimed at creating synergies between funding instruments.

Our team provides tailored support to local and regional authorities, research organisations, technical centres, innovation clusters and associations seeking to develop institutional policies that foster their communities’ participation in European R&I programmes, including Horizon Europe and FP10.

We support European, national and local authorities and their administrations in the design and evaluation of public policies relating to Research & Innovation and participation in European horizontal programmes directly managed by the European Union.

Our research activities feed directly into our training offer, enabling us to design tailored programmes adapted to the needs of stakeholders and delivered using advanced teaching methods. We offer customised training modules combining theoretical principles, targeted presentations and practical activities in areas including:

• European positioning;
• identifying partners at European level;
• strategic intelligence and monitoring;
• Horizon Europe project development;
• European Research & Innovation standards.

We support individual researchers, laboratories, research organisations, technical centres, innovation clusters, local and regional authorities, and associations throughout the development of their projects. Our support can cover the entire process:

• developing the initial idea;
• identifying relevant calls for proposals;
• methodological design;
• identifying partners;
• drafting the proposal;
• budget development;
• submission;
• negotiating the consortium agreement;
• negotiating the grant agreement.
